Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought. We want everyone to be able to use bright-web.co.uk, regardless of how they browse.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That's the standard most organisations work towards.
What we've done
- Semantic, well-structured HTML with a logical heading order.
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus styles on interactive elements.
- Labelled form fields and clear, announced status messages on the contact form.
- Colour contrast chosen to be readable, and meaning never conveyed by colour alone.
- Motion that respects your “reduce motion” setting. If you've asked your device to reduce motion, ours stays minimal.
- Text that resizes and reflows cleanly down to small screens.
- Self-hosted fonts with a sensible fallback, so text stays readable while they load.
