A site for a small independent estate agency in Bristol. It puts the homes on a map, lets people shortlist and run the numbers themselves, and reads like the agency rather than a portal.
Visit the live site atlas-and-oak.pages.devAtlas & Oak is a small Bristol agency that takes on a handful of houses at a time. The site has to do two things at once: feel personal and editorial, and still work as a proper property search. The agency, the team and the listings are invented for the demo.
Listings are a content collection, so adding a house means editing a file, not wrestling a CMS. The search runs on a real map, and buyers can shortlist homes, saved in their browser, and run a mortgage estimate without leaving the page or phoning anyone.
The design is warm and printed-feeling: a serif display face, hairline rules, numbered sections, oak green and brass on cream paper. It's built to look like one careful agency, not another identikit listings portal.
